Late Work Policy:
Students are expected to complete their work and turn it in on the day it is due. If work is late, 10% will be deducted from the earned grade for each day it is late. Therefore, after 5 days, the highest grade that a student can earn for an assignment that is late will be 50 percent. If an assignment is not turned in, the student will receive a zero. Late work will not be accepted after the Wednesday following interim reports and the Friday before the end of the nine weeks. Special circumstances will be addressed by individual teachers on a case by case basis.
-Interim Dates: Oct.5, Dec. 14, March 1, May 17
-Last Date to turn in missing assignments listed on Interim Report: Oct. 11, Dec. 20, March 7, May 23
-End of nine weeks: Nov. 3, Jan. 26, April 10, June 15
-Last Date to turn in missing assignments for the nine weeks: Oct. 27, Jan. 19, March 30 (April 3 is during Spring Break), June 8
We will do two reward days of recess during Tiger Time per nine weeks for students who have turned in all assignments and have no missing work. Students who have missing assignments will not be allowed to participate in the reward day and are expected to use this time as an opportunity to complete late assignments.
